THIS PROSPECTUS WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH
THE INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
BEANFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL AND WHAT IT
HAS TO OFFER YOUR CHILD.
We strive to ensure that all children enjoy their school experience in an environment
built on positive co-operation amongst school staff, parents, pupils and many sections
of the local community.
The school is open to you at any time and we hope you will take up the opportunity to
visit us and see for yourself our school at work.
We aim to work in partnership with you as parents to foster a love of learning and to
enable your child to acquire the skills they need to reach their full potential. We give
high priority to literacy and numeracy, which are at the heart of our curriculum.
In addition, we provide a wide range of after school activities, setting high standards
in all aspects of school life. As a school we value each individual and their unique
contribution to the life of our community. Tolerance and respect for others underpin
every element of the work of the school and our school rules help ensure that our
children are happy and safe in school.

Prospectus
All the children in the school will follow a full primary curriculum and the highest standards are sought in all areas. There are policy
statements on specific subject areas, devised by staff and approved by Governors and these are accessible on the school website.

BEANFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL IS PART OF
THE BROOKE WESTON TRUST (BWT).
With 25 years experience of managing schools,
the Trust’s mission is to transform educational
performance by making long-term commitments to
communities.
Every BWT school has its own unique character,
but they all share a culture of high expectations and
ambition for all.
Our schools are based in Cambridgeshire and
Northamptonshire, all of which regularly collaborate
with each other to drive towards this ambition. This
means that staff and pupils from across BWT work
together to support each other, share best practice and
try new ideas.
Over each academic year there are many opportunities
for pupils from all our schools to meet, compete and
celebrate success together.
