Beanfield Primary School

Week 2 - 11th January

Hello everyone, we hope you are all keeping well! This week in maths, we will be focussing on multiplication and using visual representations such as arrays to help support us to multiply three digit and two digit numbers by one digit numbers. In English, we will be exploring our new story ‘The man who walked between the towers’. Over the next three weeks we will be preparing to write a narrative. This week, we will be looking at the setting and character description within the story and drawing on descriptive features we have used before. In topic, we will be introducing our new topic ‘How has electricity changed North America?’ You will be collecting data on the amount of electrical objects you can see in your local area, as well as analysing interesting maps of North America. In science, we will be looking at our new topic of electricity and focussing on how electrical items in your home work.

Keep up the amazing work we saw from you before Christmas! We’re excited to see the work in your home learning books. If you need any help with any of your learning, please email your teachers at BPSY4@beanfieldprimary.org and please also use this email address to send any pictures of what you have been up to at home.
