Beanfield Primary School

Week 4 - 25th January

Hello Year 1, are you all ok after the wind and rain last week?  We're all ok, and can't wait to see you all again.

In your work this week is something a little bit different - as part of the RSPB Big Bird Watch you have some learning about birds in Science and you are going to do some birdwatching.  You could spend some time on any day looking out of the window to see what birds you could spot, it doesn't have to be just the one day.  Remember your PurpleMash and Mathletics log ins are the same - there are some different activities set as 2do's on PurpleMash.  With your maths, are all of your numbers going the right way around?  Check carefully as you do your formation practice - it's just like we do at school.  One number one box, one line of each number.  You don't have to do them all every day - in school we'd do two a day, but you can decide how many lines you do at once - just try and complete one page of numbers over the week, either in your book or on the sheet.

We hope you enjoy some, if not all of these activities.  We'd love to see a few pictures of what you've been up to - please feel free to email them to us at BPSY1@beanfieldprimary.org  This can also be used for questions about work or anything we can help with.

This week we've added an end of week quiz for you to have a go at so we can see how well you are doing with your learning at home.  We've also set up a Story Time tab so please click in there where you'll find a link to Miss Longhurst reading a story we know you'll enjoy.

Bye for now,

Mrs Jeffs, Miss Longhurst and Mrs Callaghan
