Beanfield Primary School

Week 6 - 8th February

Hello Year 1, we hope you are all keeping safe and well. We are all ok here but looking forward to seeing you all again when we can.

This week is safer internet week so you will notice some computing work on what to do if you see something online and you don't know whether it is quite right.

Also this week we have Book Giving Day, so our English is slightly different and based around a book, we have provided the link to watch it online and also a copy if you prefer to read it yourselves, then you can pick what activity you do each day!

In Science we are learning all about electricity and what we have at home that uses it, can you spot anything?

In Maths we are practicing our numbers to 50, can you count forwards and backwards to 50? Then towards the end of week we are going to be looking at height and length.

Topic will have you thinking about our town and its history which we hope you will find interesting!

We have added some questions into our end of week quiz about the things you will have learnt this week, don't forget to have a go! Also check out Mrs Jeffs reading a lovely story on the website this week too.

As always, we love to see your work so please send in some pictures! Ask your grown up to share pictures of your work on Class Dojo or else email them to us at BPSY1@beanfieldprimary.org

Your grown ups can also use this to contact us with any questions or queries they may have.

Have a good week,

Mrs Jeffs, Miss Longhurst and Mrs Callaghan
