Beanfield Primary School

Week 6 - 8th February

Hello Year 3,

We have really enjoyed hearing and seeing how well you have been working at home this term – so well done for keeping up all the hard work!  For this final week before half term we have included a music day and RE day, just like we would at school. You will also have your daily handwriting, spellings and rockstars.

During the music day you will be finding out more about traditional music from around the world, before focusing on specific countries. This will mean you have the opportunity to create your own Haka, tambourine and find out about Bob Marley who was a popular artist from Jamaica.

On our RE day you will learn more about Judaism and what it is like to be Jewish in Britain today. This is a great chance to find out more about another religion and the history and traditions of Judaism. You may also be able to compare the beliefs with other religions we have studied in the past.

In addition, we will also have our normal Science, Spanish and Reading comprehension lessons as well our wellbeing activities on Friday afternoon. Please remember there is also an end of week quiz and story time video for you to access before the end of the week.

Have a lovely week everyone and we can’t wait to see some more pictures of your home learning and the fun you get up to this week.

Grown-ups: Please remember if you need any further assistance with any of this week’s home learning, or if you would like to send us in photos of some great pieces of work you can either send them Class Dojo or else you can use the 3 email address: BPSY3@beanfieldprimary.org

Take care and stay safe!
