Beanfield Primary School

Week 8 - 1st March

Hello again Year 5! You are absolutely blowing us away with the work you are producing and we can’t wait to see you all again soon!

On Thursday, it is going to be World Book Day. We would love to see you all dress up as your favourite characters or take a picture reading your favourite book. We have arranged a fun filled day of activities relating to your favourite stories.

This week’s Maths will see you exploring Fractions by putting them into a sequence. This will involve you comparing and ordering them correctly. In English we will be writing your recount in the form of a diary entry linked to our text ‘Varmints’. In Topic lessons this week we will continue to develop our observation skills and techniques for creating tone, before looking at how we can practise those in smaller sketches.

Please remember to send photos of your work to us to share what great things you’ve been up to. If you have any questions about your learning too, please contact us on the following address and we will get back to you. BPSY5@beanfieldprimary.org

Have another fantastic week and don’t forget to complete the quiz so we can see what you’ve learned!
