Year 3 had a great opportunity to meet the popular author Dave Cousins when he came to visit Beanfield. Each class in year 3 had their very own workshop with Dave where he was able to tell them about how he became a writer, read aloud a chapter from one of his books and then show the children how to create their own characters from numbers. The children showed immense enthusiasm in their sessions and we are very excited to continue working on their stories over the next few weeks.
