To celebrate the re-launch of our school book shop, we will be holding an after school party on Thursday 19 April in the library and KS1 hall from 3.30pm – 4.30pm.

During the afternoon we will have our librarians on hand selling our new books and balloons, cake and a comfy area for students and parents to begin reading their purchases in.

The library will still stock our bargain books at 20p, 50p and £1, but we will also have some brand new books for super low prices between £1-£3. These include titles such as: ‘How to Train your Dragon’, ‘How to Catch a Star’ and ‘Horrid Henry’s All Time Favourite Joke Book’.

Library and book shop leader Miss Carey said ‘I am so excited for our re-launch. The book shop is such a valuable resource for our children and gives them a great opportunity to be able to purchase books at super low prices. We have some fantastic books from authors such as David Walliams and Oliver Jeffers. This is definitely not an opportunity to miss and the great thing is that every single penny that is spent at the book shop is used to buy new stock’.
