During the event the children will take part in a quiz about the shortlisted books, participate in the book pushing to promote their favourite title and then take part in the final vote.

Miss. Carey who is leading the group said “Beanfield were lucky enough to take part in the event last year and the children had a fantastic time – so we cannot wait to take part again.”

The shortlisted books this year include ‘King of the sky’, Thornhill’, ‘Town is by the sea’ and ‘The song from somewhere else’. The reading group are already making their way through the titles and beginning to explore the themes in each.
