Book and a biscuit Morning
Following on from the success of our DEAR sessions which happen at the start of every term, we have now introduced ‘Book and a biscuit’ mornings. This provides grown-ups with the opportunity to join their child for a 20 minute session at the start of the school day, where they can enjoy a book together along with a yummy biscuit.
Each year group has their ‘Book and a biscuit’ morning on a different day, so that adults can enjoy this session with their children on different mornings.
The ‘Book and a biscuit’ dates for this term are:

| Year 3 | Thursday 5th December |
| Year 4 | Tuesday 10th December |
| Year 5 | Thursday 12th December |
| Year 6 | Friday 13th December |
These mornings which have already proven to be popular with both children and adults, will then continue to take place on alternate half terms with DEAR.
Tuesday saw the start of our 'book and a biscuit' sessions. Year 1 had a lovely start to the day by spending some quality time reading and it was great to see so many grown ups come along to join in too.
Tomorrow will see year 2 have their 'book and a biscuit' session and then year 3 on Thursday.
