Roald Dahl Day

Beanfield Celebrates 'Roald Dahl Day'
Roald Dahl Day
Roald Dahl is well known for his children’s books and is so famous that he has a day where every one celebrates his books (which is his birthday -13th September 1916). Also, did you know that he served in WW1?
On Roald Dahl day at Beanfield, the Year 6 children made Mr Twit’s beard out of pieces of wool and food. Meanwhile, in Year 3 they focused on the BFG and how it isn’t what’s on the outside –it’s on the inside - that counts.
