Book Fayre

The Book Fayre was a roaring success

The Book Fayre was a roaring success

The book fayre was in school for its first visit of the year between 16th and 22nd November. During these days, the fayre was open after school until 3:45 for children to browse the fantastic books on offer, along with their grown-ups. Classes also went together to look at the fantastic books that were available. Some of the most popular titles included ‘Kid normal’, ‘I love puppies’ and ‘Tom Gates’

We were also very lucky to have the support of a number of year 6 children who stayed behind to run the book fayre and had real life experience of what it is like to work in a book shop – including taking money and working out change.

Over the duration of the book fayre we sold a massive £568 worth of books! We will now be able to use our commission to buy brand new books for the library and for class book corners! #Proudtoread
