Job Title: Curriculum Support Officer L1 (Internal applicant only)
Location: Beanfield Primary School
Salary: BWT Grade 5, point 13 full time equivalent £19,190, pro rata £14,480.
Hours per week / Weeks per year: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am- 3.30pm. 39 weeks, term time only plus 5 training days.
About Beanfield Primary School and the Curriculum Support Officer role
Beanfield Special Provision have an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Support Officer to join our dedicated team.
The ideal candidate will deliver educational and social support to children, under the guidance of the overseeing teacher. This role will include providing cover for whole classes in the absence of a teacher over an extended period of time. To plan and deliver programmes of teaching and learning activities for classes within a framework agreed with and under the overall direction and supervision of a Teacher. The primary focus is to keep pupils on task and maintain a purposeful and orderly learning environment for pupils.
All staff are expected to work within all areas of the Provision and provide support to a wide range of children, some with complex needs.
The successful candidate will support our amazing children on their academic journey. You will work within a team of driven, passionate professionals including the Trust Director of SEN and Primary Outreach, who each day provide high quality, personalised care and attention to all children within the Specialist Provision. You will be able to hit the ground running and contribute to implementing routines and structures for each individual.
