Location: Beanfield Primary School
Salary: BWT Grade 2, Point 4- full time equivalent £18,050- £18, 250, Pro rota’d- £12,572
Hours per week / Weeks per year: 30 hours per week, Monday- Friday 8.45am- 3.15pm. 39 weeks, Term time plus 5 training days.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and committed individual to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with an Educational Health Care Plan in the Early Years department, on a fixed term basis. This child has complex needs and can present with some challenging behaviour and can find the classroom routines and activities a challenge. You will be provided with support and training to help work alongside them. The role requires an assertive, yet nurturing individual with a passion for ensuring the child feels valued and included within their class. You will be joining our professional and skilled team of Teaching Assistants and will be working in partnership with our fabulous teachers and support staff to provide high quality support for pupils in their school journey.

If you are the lucky person who acquires the role, you will work together with a team of passionate pupils and staff within our KS1 department. You may also provide support to individuals and small groups of pupils, making learning meaningful, child centred and fun. Recognising and removing barriers to pupils’ learning is essential in this role to ensure that they can access the curriculum.
