Beanfield Primary School

Week 8 - 1st March

Hello Year 1, we hope you are all ok enjoyed your first week of learning after the half term!

We have an exciting week ahead this week with lots of different activities.

In English to celebrate Dr Seuss day we have got a Dr Seuss story and then some activities for you to choose from for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

We also have World Book Day to celebrate on Thursday the 4th and so we are asking that for your day of learning, you choose from the range of exciting activities we have suggested on the World Book Day information. We can't wait to see which ones you pick and look forward to some photos perhaps of any costumes you are wearing to celebrate too!

In Science we are returning to sounds and how we can describe them.

In Maths we are continuing to compare numbers to 50 and practicing our counting in twos, we wonder how high you can count in twos to? Don't forget to fill out the Show What You Know ticket at the end of your maths activity!

We will also have the quiz at the end of your week to see how much you can remember from your learning this week and it would be great to see you have a go at this too.

We can't wait to see some of your learning uploaded to your ClassDojo profiles and if your grown-ups have any questions they can message us on ClassDojo or using our year group email: BPSY1@beanfieldprimary.org

Have a great week,

Mrs Jeffs, Miss Longhurst and Mrs Callaghan
