Roald Dahl Day 2022

This year we celebrated Road Dahl on Tuesday 13th September with each year group exploring a different book by the famous author. In year 3 the children focused on The BFG and looked at how sometimes appearances can be deceiving! In year 2 the children read Billy and the Minpins and created a freeze-frame of what they thought Billy might find in the Forest of Sin.  Further up in year 5, the children started by learning all about Roald Dahl and the exciting life he led and created information posters about his life. After that, they designed their own chocolate bars including a range of wild and wonderful flavours and ingredients. Roald Dahl day is always such a lovely event and is thoroughly enjoyed throughout the school by children and teachers alike!
