Job Title: Catering Assistant
Location: Beanfield Primary School
Salary: BWT Grade 1, point 1, full time equivalent (FTE) salary- £20,400, pro rata’d- £11,840.
Hours per week / Weeks per year: 21.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Actual working hours to be agreed at interview.

We have the opportunity to appoint a Catering Assistant to cover maternity leave for a minimum of one year. Our catering team provide fresh hot and cold food to students and staff across three schools within the Brooke Weston Trust. You will assist with all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen and canteen hygiene and teaching opportunities with students in a busy and demanding environment. The ideal candidate may already have experience working in a school catering environment, however it is essential that any candidate will share our vision to provide an enjoyable and safe environment during lunch times and dismiss the age old notion that school dinners are bad!
