Senior Leadership Team

Declan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and a Primary PGCE, and has recently completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). His passion for education was ignited while studying in Estonia, where he observed the powerful societal benefits of a strong education system. This experience inspired him to pursue a career where he could positively influence the self-esteem and aspirations of young people.

During his time teaching in London, Declan served as the Lead for the South East London Maths Hub, working across Southwark, Lambeth, Greenwich, Bexley, Lewisham, and Bromley to improve the quality and reach of mathematics education through a variety of impactful projects.

Since joining the Brooke Weston Trust, Declan has played a key role in supporting curriculum and teacher development across the Trust’s schools. He has provided strategic guidance in mathematics education and continue to advise on curriculum design and pedagogy. His work has contributed to raising standards and fostering collaboration across the Trust community.

Declan is most motivated by opportunities to shape curriculum, support teacher development, and help create a culture where both children and adults can be happy, thrive, and achieve their full potential.
