Our menu includes a variety of freshly prepared dishes, catering to different dietary needs and preferences. With a focus on quality ingredients, we ensure that every meal is both delicious and nourishing, helping pupils stay energised throughout the school day.

Universal Free School Meals

At Beanfield Primary School, all pupils in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are entitled to a free, nutritious meal every day through the Universal Free School Meals program, supporting their health, wellbeing, and learning.

Eligibility Structure 

  • Targeted FSM: Covers pupils in households receiving Universal Credit with annual net earned income of £7,400 or less, or those receiving specific legacy benefits (like Income-related ESA or support under the Immigration and Asylum Act). This tier unlocks additional Pupil Premium funding for schools.
  • Expanded FSM: A category for pupils in households receiving Universal Credit with earnings above £7,400. This does not attract Pupil Premium funding. 
  • No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF): Certain vulnerable families with NRPF may still qualify; check directly with the school or local authority.

Applications can be submitted online via https://fsm.lgfl.net/app, and eligibility is confirmed instantly. The school will be notified within five working days. If you need assistance with the application, feel free to visit the school office, we’re happy to help!
