Our School Day

At Beanfield Primary we believe that a calm and positive start to the school day is essential in helping children feel settled, secure and ready to learn. To support a smooth transition into school each morning, we offer a free "grab-and-go" breakfast from our playgrounds, giving all children the opportunity to enjoy something to eat before school starts.

From Reception upwards, children benefit from a ten-minute soft entry into their classrooms. This approach avoids the need for children to line up on the playground and allows them to enter school in a relaxed and unhurried way. It also provides valuable opportunities for staff to greet each child warmly, check in on their wellbeing and ensure they begin the day feeling welcomed and ready for learning.
