Year 3 trip to Leicester Museum
On Wednesday 9th November year 3 were lucky enough to visit the New Walk museum in Leicester.
During the day, the children took part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop led by one of the museum experts. This included finding out more about life in Ancient Egypt, mummies and also handing a range of genuine artefacts.
In addition to this session, we also explored other parts of the museum such as visiting the Rutland dinosaur skeleton, the animal zone and of course the gift shop!
All the children had a great time and were fantastically behaved. The teachers were all so proud of knowledge the children shared with the museum staff and their enthusiasm to find out even more.
