Beanfield Primary School

Week 6 - 8th February

Hello everyone,

We hope you’ve enjoyed your learning this half term! We have one more week left so keep up the hard work!

During English this week we will be continuing our learning on shape poems and creating our own using the features we have focussed on during the last 2 weeks.

In Maths this week we will be looking at area. We will be looking at what it is, how we can measure it and we will also be comparing different areas.

This week in topic, we’ll be summing up our learning in history and geography by creating a double page information sheet. We’ll also be revisiting electrical conductors in science, as well as looking at this half term’s RE topic ‘How are babies welcomed into the world by different religions’.

We would love to see the work you are completing; you can send pictures to our year 4 email address: BPSY4@beanfieldprimary.org

You can also share your work on Class Dojo, which the teachers will be keeping an eye on!

There will also be this week’s quiz for you to complete to help us see how you’re getting on, whilst this week’s story will be read to you by Mrs Kemp.

Finally, we have included a half term home learning sheet with ideas to keep you busy over your week break.

Well done for all of your hard work this term and enjoy you’re half term break as best you can,

Year 4 teachers
