Beanfield Unit Provision teams up with Corby Lottery

Beanfield Unit Provision has been accepted by Corby Lottery to become one of the local good causes that people can donate to when they play the Corby Lottery.

Corby Lottery is a weekly online lottery created to support local causes in Corby. Tickets are only £1 per week with 60% going to local good causes, 50p chosen by the player and the remaining 10p distributed evenly amongst the other causes. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize every week with a top prize of £25,000. Players have a better chance of winning the Corby Lottery than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery.

The Unit Provision applied to work together with the Corby Lottery to help raise funds for the Provision. One of the Unit Provision Cover Supervisors said ‘Being part of the Corby Lottery is a fun and simple way of raising funds for the Unit. I’ve lived in Corby all my life and I know how supportive the local community are and if they know that half of their money is going to a good cause like our Unit Provision they will support it. If only a few people choose to donate to us a week it opens up so many opportunities with the money that this will raise and what we will be able to offer our students.’

Leader of Corby Borough Council Cllr Tom Beattie said ‘ The Online Lottery is a great way to support the good causes we have in Corby and also gives members of the public the chance to support them in an easy and affordable way. ‘

You can purchase your weekly Corby Lottery tickets and choose to donate your 50p to Beanfield’s Unit Provision at https://www.corbylottery.co.uk/support/beanfield-primary-special-provision
