Wednesday's Learning

Daily Timetable:

Handwriting and Vocab (30 mins)

Learn the meaning for the word of the day and complete the vocabulary tasks on the PowerPoint.

Reading Comp (45 mins)

Read the text carefully and answer the questions relating to the text.

English (1hr)

Watch the video of the Tsunami again and look back at your plan from the last English lesson. Write a first person recount. Follow the tasks on the PowerPoint and read the teacher’s example carefully to see what a good one looks like!

Maths (1hr)

You will be learning how to recognise and write percentages! Have a go at representing percentages as diagrams in your books and answer the questions as you go.

Art (1 hr)   

Drawing a sound creature! Listen to the sound clip on the link at the top of the document. If you cannot access this, listen to the sounds you can hear around the house. Read the information about how to draw a sound creature and then have a go yourself.
