Year 5 and 6 Christmas concert
Year 5 and 6 students at Beanfield Primary School got into the festive spirit during their annual Christmas concert.
The hour-long celebration took place at St Ninian’s Church and comprised songs and presentations from each class detailing Christmas customs from around the world, including in Norway, the Philippines and Russia. The children in the Arts Award group did a performance of ‘The Night Before Christmas.’
Parents and families attended and the vicar also gave a brief talk about the meaning of Christmas.
Thanks to all the students and staff who worked so hard to put on a great show, which included Christmas classics including ‘Santa Claus is coming to town,’ ‘Away in a Manger’ and even an Australian version of Jingle Bells!
