Hello Nursery children.  We hope you are all well.  This week lots of our learning is themed around the story of the Gingerbread Man.  You will be sharing this book with an adult at home each day and then talking about it.  You have lots of chances to make things linked to the story too.  We are starting our phonics time.  Your adults at home might find it useful to watch the videos in the resources to understand how this starts in Nursery.  You are going to play some Fred games; your adult will need to say the words out loud like a robot (segmenting) and then you need to say them as a word.  Your adult would say "l-e-g" and you would say "leg".  Lots of your activities repeat each day as you will build up skills by practicing again and again.  We will be phoning your adults this week so if any of the home learning does not make sense, they can let us know and we can explain more.  We look forward to finding out about your home learning.  Take care and keep safe.
