Beanfield Primary School

Week 2 - 11th January

Hello Year 1, we hope you are all well and keeping warm.  We're definitely in a new season now - can you remember which one it is? When you are doing your writing please make sure you remember your finger spaces and full stops - we're all so good now at keeping our writing on the lines, but what do we need to start each sentence?  There are a mixture of activities for maths - this week we are looking at money.  How many different coins are there, do you know what they all look like?  If you ask your grown up's they will be able to help you, perhaps they could help you set up a shop with different things to sell.  Our Topic this term is going to be lots of work about maps and the area we live in.  I wonder how many amazing facts you will be able to find out about Corby to tell us when we are back in school . . . . .

If you need any help with any of your learning please email us at BPSY1@beanfieldprimary.org and please also use this email address to send any pictures of what you have been up to at home.

Have a great week,

Mrs Jeffs, Miss Longhurst and Mrs Callaghan
