Beanfield Primary School

Week 4 - 25th January

Hello everyone, we’ve loved seeing the work that has been sent to us so far and we’re glad to see so many people getting on well with the learning at home.

This week in English, we will be gathering all our previous learning from the book 'The Man Who Walked Between The Towers' to enable us to successfully write a narrative detailing what happened the day Philippe walked between the two towers. In maths, we will begin the week with arithmetic and then be working on division of 2-digit numbers and 3 digit numbers by 1-digit. We will be looking at different ways to support in this. For example; by using partitioning to separate the place value of hundreds, tens and ones. We will also be working on reasoning and problem solving questions relating to division.

Topic this week involves a look at the dangers electricity and technology may pose in the future, as well as comparing older music to newer music and assessing the impact of technology on these changes.

Don't forget if you get stuck on anything you can email us at bpsy4@beanfieldprimary.org.  You can also use this email address to send us pictures of your amazing learning at home.  This week we have added an end of week quiz for you to have a go at so we can see how well you're doing.  You'll also find a story that you can listen to in the Story Time tab on the left hand side.  We hope you enjoy it!

Keep up all of your amazing work, keep safe and have a good week!
