Hello Year 1, we hope you are all ok and that you enjoyed playing in the snow last week!

We have popped in some Religious Education into your home learning this week, we hope you enjoy learning all about Judaism and perhaps having a go at some of the activities suggested. 

In Science we are learning all about sound and how it is made, what sounds can you hear around your home?

In Maths we are starting a new unit all about subtraction within 20. Use a part-part whole template to help you if you need, we have used these a lot in school and can be drawn on any piece of paper or even in your books. The towards the end of week we are going to be looking at weight and comparing heavy and light things.

Don't forget to have a go at the quiz at the end of your week to see how much you can remember from your learning this week. This can be found on the end of week quiz tab on the home learning page. We also have a fantastic story read by Mrs Callaghan this week to enjoy on the story time tab!
